Stacia Casillo, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist who provides treatment for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, family or relationship issues, and adjusting to various life changes and transitions. She has extensive experience treating both children and adults suffering from ADHD. Dr. Casillo believes in a holistic and flexible approach to therapy incorporating CBT and psychodynamic approaches.

For over 18 years Melissa has devoted her career development to the healthcare industry. Melissa’s passion is private practice. She excels in many areas of managing and directing a multi-physician office. Melissa is in charge of the staff, including but certainly not limited to all areas of office management, human resources, benefit administration, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, operations, and the care and compassion for each patient and their unique cases and issues. Melissa works directly with each staff member and area of the office while purposefully and deliberately having hands on knowledge and experience.
Jennifer Bernstein, MD

Jennifer Bernstein, MD, is a psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of adults with mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. Bernstein provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, psychopharmacology when indicated, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Jennifer has a special interest in women’s reproductive mental health across the lifespan. Dr. Bernstein trained in psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She worked for several years in inpatient and emergency room settings. She is currently on faculty at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College, where she supervises and teaches residents.

Gayle S. Goren, MD
Gayle S. Goren, MD
Gayle S. Goren, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center. She graduated from a residency in Adult Psychiatry for The Cambridge Health Alliance-Harvard Medical School in 2002 and went on to do a Public Psychiatry Fellowship at Columbia University.
Dr. Goren has worked extensively in a broad range of services in Psychiatry, including as an attending in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Program at NYP Hospital, as a psychopharmacologist for Spanish and English-speaking outpatients at NYP, and as a psychotherapist and psychopharmacologist for graduate students at the Columbia University Mental Health Service at the 168th Street Campus.
Dr. Goren provides comprehensive diagnostic psychiatric evaluations, initial and ongoing psychopharmacologic management, and psychodynamic psychotherapy when appropriate.

Karthik Gunnia, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other difficulties. Dr. Gunnia utilizes a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach and also has extensive training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), in-vivo exposure therapy, parent-child interaction training (PCIT), treatment of selective mutism, and assessment and treatment of psychosis. He applies these techniques in individual and group sessions weekly or more frequently if indicated. He is the primary therapist for the Intensive Program in which 16 sessions of treatment are provided in as little as one weeks time, a highly effective option for individuals motivated to overcome fear and reduce anxiety. Dr. Gunnia obtained his doctorate from George Washington University in Washington D.C., completed his internship at New York University-Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, and received postdoctoral training from the University of California, San Francisco. He is an adjunct instructor at New York University and Teachers College of Columbia University.

Talya Kook, PsyD is a clinical psychologist who has a wide range of experience working intensively with children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Areas of treatment include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and behavioral difficulties. Dr. Kook works with clients who are struggling to manage issues such as life stressors, school problems, family conflict, emotional regulation and social functioning. Dr. Kook will utilize CBT and psychodynamic approaches in therapy. She believes in an integrative treatment approach that must be tailored to the individual. Dr. Kook has a strong background in psychological assessment, which includes psycho-educational testing, as well as diagnostic formulation and school consultation.

Abbie Kwitel, PsyD is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the cognitive-behavioral treatment (CBT) of adults experiencing anxiety/panic, depression, interpersonal issues within the family, intimate relationships and social spheres, adjustment-related problems and low self-esteem/confidence. Dr. Kwitel also has extensive training in relational psychotherapy and holistic nutritional counseling which she often integrates into treatment to help address the whole individual. Dr. Kwitel modifies treatment according to the unique needs of each patient and believes in a collaborative, active approach to treatment.

Bianca Lerer, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Bianca believes each client is unique and tailors treatment to that individual, incorporating an integrative approach of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and functional family therapy (FFT). She has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses, specifically and not limited to, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, behavioral disorders, and self-confidence/low self-esteem. Bianca has particular interest in young adults transitioning into adulthood. This time period is complicated by school stressors, family conflict, and various other emotional difficulties. Bianca is dedicated to working collaboratively with her clients in the hopes of modifying their behaviors to increase their daily functioning and overall happiness.

Constance Mennella, DO
Constance Mennella, DO, is a board certified adult and child psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, mood, attentional and behavioral disorders. She also enjoys treating adults with similar conditions. Dr. Mennella provides initial diagnostic psychiatric evaluation and medication management when indicated. She takes a family-based integrated care approach, working collaboratively with families to identify the individual’s strengths. She has a particular interest in anxiety spectrum disorders as well as evidence-based parent training. Additionally, she has clinical and research expertise in area of psychodermatology. Dr. Mennella served as Chief Resident at the Brown University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program.

Barbra Waldfogel, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience in the treatment of adolescents and adults with histories of emotional neglect and various forms of abuse. She has worked as both a therapist and director for residential treatment programs in the child welfare system in Chicago and New York. Her private practice has focused on individual treatment for teens and adults with anxiety, depression and marital or parent-child conflict. Barbra is passionate about helping clients reach their goals knowing that they seek treatment because they or their family members are suffering; she helps to develop a positive therapeutic relationship and utilizes evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy.
