Seeking a part time, licensed, clinical child and adolescent psychologist for our Washington, DC and Northern Virginia offices who has experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. The applicant should be well versed in working with all ages including children under the age of 12 who are diagnosed with anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems that are common with this age group. Competence in psychological, psychoeducational, and/or neuropsychological testing is a plus. To serve the child/adolescent population, the majority of part-time work would take place during non-school hours (i.e., afternoons, evenings, weekends). There is also potential for more hours if interested.
The Ross Center is an established practice in the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia regions, along with an office in New York, that serves children, adolescents and adults with an array of psychiatric and psychological diagnoses. There is a large referral base already established with local schools and doctors’ offices, which provides the potential for full-time hours if desired. Staff at the center includes full-time and part-time psychologists and psychiatrists with expertise in a variety of areas. Clients are frequently served by both our psychologists and psychiatrists, which offers clients a more collaborative approach to treatment. Child psychologists have the opportunity to take on roles within our growing testing and group treatment programs. The center also employs full-time administrative staff who are responsible for setting up intakes, regular scheduling, and billing.
The Ross Center is committed to supporting diversity among its staff and clients. We recognize that different backgrounds and experiences help to strengthen our practice and provide optimal care. We strongly encourage candidates to apply who will enrich The Ross Center’s culturally inclusive environment and services, including those with training and experience providing evidenced-based treatment to diverse populations.
Offering flexible hours and a hybrid model of care, with both tele-health and in-person appointment options.
