The Ross Center’s New York psychotherapist, Gwilym Roddick, LCSW, recently attended Headstrong‘s 6th Annual New York City Gala. Gwilym has been providing psychotherapy services to Post 9/11 Veterans for the Headstrong Project in New York since 2017. Headstrong was founded in 2012 through a partnership with Weill Cornell Medicine to offer free and confidential treatment for post-9/11 military veterans. The organization now serves Veterans in several cities across the US. Practitioners like Gwilym provide evidence-based psychotherapy, with no cap on sessions. While working with Headstrong, Gwilym has not only provided services to individual clients, but he also created a weekly Men’s Veteran’s Addictions Group, a unique service based on the overwhelming need he observed for specific care. Gwilym considers his opportunity to work with Headstrong and it’s clients as a sincere privilege.
