Adolescent & Adult Psychotherapist for VA office

Adolescent & Adult Psychotherapist for VA office

Seeking a part time, licensed psychotherapist to provide therapy services for adolescents and adults in our Tysons Corner office.  The candidate should have experience in CBT as well as DBT and be well versed in evidence- based modes of practicing.  Family therapy experience a plus.  Additionally, candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative multidisciplinary practice and be available to provide evening and/or weekend hours. We offer a hybrid office environment with flexibility for virtual treatment or in-person appointments.

The Ross Center has had a presence in the Virgina/Washington, DC metro area for over 30 years.  Our clinicians see children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric and psychological diagnoses.  There is a large referral base already established, which would allow for expansion of hours to full time if desired.  Our marketing team is continuously expanding our referral base, and works with new clinicians to ensure their schedules fill quickly.

Staff at the center includes full-time and part-time psychologists and psychiatrists with expertise in a variety of areas.  Clients are frequently served by both our psychologists and psychiatrists, which offers clients a more collaborative approach to treatment and clinicians a supportive environment in which to share cases and deliver care. Child psychologists have the opportunity to take on roles within our growing testing and group treatment programs. The center also employs full-time administrative staff who are responsible for setting up intakes, regular scheduling, and billing. Providers are given opportunities to lead professional development trainings and specialized group therapy programs.

The Ross Center is committed to supporting diversity among its staff and clients. We recognize that different backgrounds and experiences help to strengthen our practice and provide optimal care. We strongly encourage candidates to apply who will enrich The Ross Center’s culturally inclusive environment and services, including those with training and experience providing evidenced-based treatment to diverse populations.
