Dr. Ada Liberant is a clinical child, adolescent, and adult psychologist who specializes in forensic psychology at The Ross Center. Her style is non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate, and she is skilled at developing rapport with children and adolescents. She tailors her evaluations and treatment to the individual needs of the client and the unique aspects of each case. As a forensic psychologist, Dr. Liberant works with attorneys and families to offer consultation and evaluation in civil and criminal cases. She is a skilled expert witness and can provide testimony in court. A large portion of Dr. Liberant’s practice has included conducting forensic evaluations for civil litigation cases. She will evaluate children as young as 4 in cases of child abuse and neglect. She also has expertise in neuropsychological evaluations and psychoeducational testing.
Experience and Training:
Dr. Liberant has had extensive forensic training at the Audrey Hepburn Children’s House, which is New Jersey’s Northern Regional Diagnostic Center for Child Abuse and Neglect. She has worked closely with Child Protective Services in New Jersey in order to make appropriate family recommendations for the Courts. Since 2013, she has been independently contracted with the State of New Jersey to conduct evaluations of families involved in civil litigation. She has been qualified as an expert witness in NJ Superior Court on multiple occasions.
