Makon Fardis, PhD, is a clinical psychologist licensed in DC and Maryland. He also serves as an assistant professor of clinical psychology at The George Washington University Professional Psychology Program and a faculty at Psychiatry Residency Training, Department of Behavioral Health, Saint Elizabeths Hospital. Theoretically, he is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy with post-doctoral education in psychodynamic and family systems approaches. His areas of specialty are couples and families but he works with a wide spectrum of individual patients from teens up in age range. His approach is collaborative and inclusive with the client at the center of the work.
