The Ross Center in Manhattan is hiring both psychotherapists and psychiatrists to join our expanding team. The candidate should have experience working in a collaborative multidisciplinary practice and have experience working in evidence based models of care. Our psychotherapists have experience in CBT, ACT, DBT and other evidence based psychotherapies, and our psychiatrists work closely with them. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexibility for virtual treatment or in-person appointments. Experience with child and adolescent mental health care is a plus.
The Ross Center has had a New York based office for 10 years, with additional offices in the Washington, DC metro area for over 30 years. Our clinicians see children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric and psychological diagnoses. There is a large referral base already established, which would allow for expansion of hours to full time if desired. Our marketing team is continuously expanding our referral base, and works with new clinicians to ensure their schedules fill quickly.
Staff at the center includes full-time and part-time psychologists and psychiatrists with expertise in a variety of areas. Clients are frequently served by both our psychologists and psychiatrists, which offers clients a more collaborative approach to treatment and clinicians a supportive environment in which to share cases and deliver care. Child psychologists have the opportunity to take on roles within our growing testing and group treatment programs. The center also employs full-time administrative staff who are responsible for setting up intakes, regular scheduling, and billing. Providers are given opportunities to lead professional development trainings and specialized group therapy programs.
The Ross Center is committed to supporting diversity among its staff and clients. We recognize that different backgrounds and experiences help to strengthen our practice and provide optimal care. We strongly encourage candidates to apply who will enrich The Ross Center’s culturally inclusive environment and services, including those with training and experience providing evidenced-based treatment to diverse populations.
Interested parties should send a CV and two letters of recommendation to the Medical Director, Dr. Beth Salcedo, at dcinfo@rosscenter.com.
