Trainings and Workshops

Gain clinical skills in professional training sessions led by expert clinicians.

At The Ross Center, we are committed to offering professional development and continuing education opportunities to mental health providers and other health professionals. It is part of our vision to expand the use of quality, evidence-based treatment that reflects best practices and up-to-date research.  We are proud to have many world-class, highly experienced clinicians as part of our team who will be providing trainings and seminars at our facilities, and regularly bring in outside experts to conduct training workshops.

Our programming includes live, interactive webinar presentations as well as video on demand homestudy courses. We strive to provide training on a range of topics, including cultural competence, LGBTQIA+, ethics, law, and risk management, categories that are often required for licensure renewal by state licensing boards.

Continuing Education Credits

The Ross Center is an APA approved sponsor of continuing education for licensed psychologists in all states, and an approved provider of continuing education for social workers in New York. Often, we are able to obtain approval for social workers from DC, Maryland, and Virginia boards for continuing education credit as well as other mental health disciplines. Many state licensing boards accept CE from APA approved sponsors as well as for trainings approved by boards in other jurisdictions.  Social workers, LPCs and LMFTs can view this chart to see if your state approves CE credit. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified of upcoming workshops and trainings.

The Ross Center is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Ross Center maintains responsibility for this program and its content. For information about our grievance procedure relating to CE programs, click here.
