Practice Philosophy:
Dr. Daniella Heller is a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist who diagnoses and treats patients from a compassionate, holistic perspective. Empathic and caring, she creates an environment where patients and families feel listened to and comfortable, and develops a treatment plan unique to each person’s situation. To determine the optimal care plan, she takes into consideration one’s medical and social background as well as the role culture plays in each one of us. She does not rush to prescribe medication, but if warranted she will make sure that patients and families understand the rationale, benefits and potential side effects. She is an advocate for therapy along with psychiatric care, and collaborates closely with referring therapists to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.
