When working with children he strongly values parental involvement, taking the time to explain possible treatment options, both therapeutic and pharmacologic, so together they can make the best decision for the child. He recognizes that many people are hesitant to explore medication, and carefully explains benefits and potential side effects to help patients gain greater understanding of treatment recommendations
