Program Description:

Parenting is challenging, but when you have ADHD symptoms, it can feel overwhelming—especially if your child has ADHD too. Many parents only recognize their own ADHD traits when their child is diagnosed, making it clear that the struggle of focus, organization, and emotional regulation runs in families. As the parent of a child with ADHD, if your own challenges with multi-tasking and consistency are a source of stress, then this webinar is for you!

It can be frustrating if you don’t have the organizational skills to manage your family schedules, let alone your own. You might also find it triggering to see your child struggle with the same difficulties you do. How can you manage your child’s behavior when you aren’t able to maintain a calm and consistent approach to parenting? This webinar will teach you how to respond positively to behaviors you want to encourage in your child, and to reduce the tendency to overreact.

Who is this Webinar For?

This free webinar is designed specifically for parents with ADHD who:

  • Struggle with organization and staying on top of family schedules, homework, and chores
  • Find it hard to be consistent with rules and routines
  • Lose patience or feel easily triggered by their child’s behavior
  • Feel overwhelmed by meeting their child’s needs while managing their own
  • Have difficulty with impulse control, distraction, and executive functioning

Led by a clinical psychologist, this program will provide you with actionable tools to better manage your own ADHD while creating a supportive and structured home environment. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions and get expert advice during the live Q&A.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How ADHD in parents and children interacts and impacts family life
  • To recognize and adapt the characteristics that impact your ability to parent effectively
  • Practical strategies to stay organized and create structure at home
  • Tools to improve your attention, impulsiveness, and executive functioning
  • Ways to respond calmly and effectively to your child’s challenges
  • How to break the cycle of ADHD-related struggles and parent with confidence

Join us and gain the confidence to be the “good-enough” parent your child needs—while taking care of yourself too!
