Dr. Metropoulos is a licensed clinical psychologist who offers psychological assessments to adolescents and adults. She creates a warm and open environment, putting patients at ease to minimize anxiety during psychological testing. She utilizes psychological assessments as a way to investigate questions or concerns you or your child may have, and provides comprehensive reports that are used to obtain valuable services and resources. Dr. Metropoulos personalizes the assessment process, incorporating the patient’s goals and providing specific answers to meet their needs.

Dr. Metropoulos is trained in a variety of psychological assessments and uses them to best provide valuable information for individuals and families. Recommendations are tailored to each individual, and include information about social/emotional, behavioral, intellectual, and academic/work functioning. She utilizes a cognitive-behavioral and strength-based approach, utilizing her expertise to provide appropriate, actionable reports that meets a patient’s needs.
Experience and Training:
Dr. Metropoulos obtained her MA in Forensic Psychology and her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She completed an APA-accredited internship and fellowship at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Metropoulos has worked with diverse populations at a variety of locations, conducting clinical, psychological and forensic assessments. She has taught seminars and courses on topics including ethics and psychological assessments, objective personality measures, and clinical interviewing.
