Dr. Redman is a Postdoctoral Fellow who brings warmth, empathy, and compassion to her work with adolescents, adults, and families. With a deep ability to connect with people facing a wide range of challenges, she collaborates with clients to clarify their values and motivations in order to facilitate change toward more fulfilling lives. She responds with sensitivity and curiosity to the many ways people experience pain, ensuring that clients feel heard and understood. Through her guidance, clients learn new strategies and build skills to strengthen confidence, identity, and self-esteem. With teens and young adults, Dr. Redman supports the challenges that often occur during times of transitions, such as going to college, starting careers, managing independence, and navigating relationships. She helps individuals to manage stress, set realistic expectations, and develop greater resilience, Clients and families appreciate her open and approachable style, which makes space for honest conversation while respecting each person’s needs for autonomy. In therapy, she encourages clients to practice acceptance over things they can’t control while learning how to reduce anxiety, cope with adversity, and find clarity about what matters most to them.
Dr. Redman specializes in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidality, trauma, and the stress of major life changes. She also has expertise in supporting individuals experiencing early psychosis, bipolar disorder, and other complex mental health challenges. With strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, she provides care that is both evidence-based and highly personalized. Her integrative approach draws on CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies, often incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles. By blending mindfulness, compassion, and practical tools, she helps clients manage distress and improve daily functioning. Dr. Redman has a particular strength in working with clients in crisis, helping them feel more grounded, supported, and capable. Her practice is also informed by psychodynamic and humanistic theories, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and personality.
