Comprehensive Treatment for Serious Conditions.

The Ross Center offers a structured DBT program for teenagers aged 14-17. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an empirically based treatment in which participants learn skills to improve managing their feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Extensive research supports DBT efficacy in treating suicidal and self-harming behaviors, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, substance use issues, borderline personality disorder and trauma.

The 4 modules of DBT consist of: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Effectiveness. In the weekly multi-family group, teens and their parents will learn the techniques of each module. The other components of the structured program include weekly individual therapy, ongoing 24-hour skills coaching, and a dedicated team of clinicians.  If your child and family have been struggling with these difficult issues, the comprehensive DBT program at the Ross Center may offer the solution you’ve been seeking.
