Practice Philosophy:
Dr. Ryan Landoll is a dual boarded Clinical and Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist who works with a wide range of children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Landoll adopts an open and collaborative approach to therapy that centers on the child and their family’s needs and experiences. He tends to “think big,” and fundamentally believes in the importance of understanding and working with a child’s or teen’s full support system – at home, at school, and with their peers. As a result, Dr. Landoll will regularly include parents and families in his work, respecting the autonomy and independence of children and teens to emphasize collaboration and skill building. Given Dr. Landoll’s approach to working with children through the lens of their environment and relationships, most work with those under 12 will be collaborative and heavily involve their caregivers. Dr. Landoll also actively conducts research focusing on a wide range of topics including medical education, sexual health, child anxiety, and cyber victimization. Thus, he infuses the latest in evidenced-based and scientific practices to his practice, resulting in actionable steps that help children, adolescents, and their families to make incremental progress in support of their goals.
